Join us for a special Dungeons & Dragons campaign just for tweens and teens! This campaign will begin in September and continue through November. Games will be led by library volunteer Sheena Cress and supervised by library staff. All materials will be provided by the library. This program was designed for ages 11-18.

Meet the Young Adult Services Coordinator

Meet Emma! She joined the Catoosa County Library team in November of 2023 and is thrilled to be Young Adult Services Coordinator.

Emma is passionate about helping every young reader find a book that they can't put down! She has worked in Georgia libraries since 2018 and is originally from Macon, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Women's and Gender Studies from Mercer University in 2020 as well as a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification in the Czech Republic in 2023.

Emma can usually be found in the children's or YA area of the library, planning events and ordering books for ages 9-18. She enjoys working with kids and teens of all ages and loves helping out with storytime when she can. She is dedicated to making sure that every patron feels welcome in the library, especially middle grade readers. Her favorite book is Matilda by Roald Dahl.

When she's not at the library, Emma likes reading romances, making crafty projects, and thrifting. If you see her, say hi - she'd love to hear about what you're reading!
